Hello, I'm looking for a new home (or homes) for my two awesome cats, Clementine (gray) and Sasha (black). Clementine is 6 and a half years old and Sasha is 4 years old. They are both spayed, up-to-date on all shots, and have been very well taken care of. Both are female domestic short-hair.
Sasha and Clem have been living together for about 4 years now; they are friendly and get along great, but are not best buds, so I am open to adopting them out either as a pair or individually, depending on what the best situation is for both of them. I am asking for a small rehoming fee of $25 per cat. Along with the cat(s), you will get all the various kitty supplies I have that you want, such as litter boxes & scoops, toys, furniture, cat carriers, etc.
The cats have been indoor/outdoor for about a year and a half, and were indoor-only for their whole lives before that. More on the indoor/outdoor status below, where I give some more details about each cat.
Clementine is 6.5 years old and was taken in as a stray from Indiana when she was about 6 months. She is the typical "scaredy cat" and takes a while to get used to new people. As such, there would probably be a substantial transition period before Clementine would be friendly with her new family. However, once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate and cuddly. Clem is very low-energy and doesn't need a lot of attention. She will go outside occasionally, but would be perfectly happy to stay inside all the time, I think. Clem would make a great companion cat for someone with a low activity level, but is perfectly happy to sit and watch lots of things going on around her :).
The picture at left is current - Clementine weighs about 13 pounds and is a little chubby but isn't seriously overweight. She is quiet but has a very cute little meow when she wants to be noticed.
Clementine rarely scratches anything, and doesn't bite or scratch.
Sasha is 4 years old and was adopted at 8 weeks from a family member who had a litter of kittens. Sasha is much more outgoing than Clementine and is very friendly to everyone immediately! She is a total attention seeker and is always looking to get pets and neck-scratches. Sasha is more active than Clementine and likes to go outside a lot. She is smart and has a very good sense of territory - in the year and half that I have been letting her go outside, she has never gotten lost or failed to come home. Sasha is also right at about 13 pounds, picture at left is current.
Sasha has no litter box issues at all; I have never in her 4 years witnessed her going anywhere other than the litter box. She is very trainable when it comes to scratching furniture and reponds well to being sprayed by a water bottle when scratching somewhere other than a scratching post. Sasha is very talkative, purrs whenever she's getting petted, and has a great personality.
I love my kitties soooo much and it really hurts to have to find a new home for them - however, it's just not possible for me to keep them anymore. I have extensive vet records for both of them and neither have any recurring health problems, fleas, worms, or any other parasites. If you are interested in adopting them, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can talk further. Thanks!
Below are some more pictures. I can provide a lot more upon request.
